Virtual SDR seat outbound glossary GLOSSARY

Definition. An ID-verified LinkedIn profile, with Sales Navigator, that an agency provides, brands and operates on a client's behalf for outbound, so that sending volume and account risk sit with the agency rather than on the client's own profile.

What it is

LinkedIn limits how many connection requests and messages one profile can send in a day. A done-for-you programme that needs real volume therefore needs more than one profile. A virtual SDR seat is an additional profile, verified with real identity documents, given a role and branding consistent with the client, equipped with Sales Navigator, and run by the agency's team.

Why it matters to the buyer

Three things change when the seats are the agency's rather than yours. Volume: ten seats send ten times what one profile can. Risk: if LinkedIn objects to the activity, it is the agency's account standing, not your personal profile and reputation. Operations: onboarding your own team's profiles one by one, with their own passwords and two-factor codes, stops being your problem.

The number behind it

algoacquisition's Core tier runs on 10 virtual SDR seats plus up to 5 seats from the client's own team; Scale runs 100 virtual seats plus 50 from the client. The seats are what make 163,868 connection requests in six months possible across the client base; the benchmarks post shows what that volume produced.

  • Done-for-you outbound — An outbound sales service in which the vendor owns the work from list to calendar: sourcing, message, sending, reply handling, calling and booking. The term is widely used for services that cover only sourcing and sending, so the question to ask is which of the six jobs the vendor actually does.
  • Connection acceptance rate — The share of LinkedIn connection requests that are accepted. Across 163,868 requests in algoacquisition's 2026 campaign data the average was 19.8%; campaigns with a single, tightly defined segment ran at 30–39%.
  • Message-market fit — The point at which an outbound message reliably gets the right stranger to reply with interest. It is found by testing ICP, sourcing, front-end offer, angle and channel in order, and it is the asset a client keeps after any outbound engagement ends.
